Why isn’t he sitting in front of a Mic?
Uecker thought him sitting at a broadcast table wouldn’t make for a good statue.
Should have given him his trademark plaid jacket. Have to see it in person to get my complete assessment of it.
They should have given him his trademark plaid jacket. Won’t give my complete opinion until I see it in person.
I hate to say it because I enjoy listening to Ueck, but I do not care for this statue. I agree that they should have put him in suit coat at least. I know he didn’t want a statue of himself sitting at a desk, but couldn’t a creative sculptor have found a way to suggest a desk somehow? Or at least part of a desk with a mic? The statue looks awkward to me, and his pec muscles stand out too much. I wish they could do it over.
