Official Press Release: Brewers Transaction
The Brewers have signed LHP Travis Webb to a minor-league contract with an invitation to Major League camp.
Webb, 28, has spent his entire career in the Reds organization. He was selected by Cincinnati in the eighth round of the 2006 First-Year Player Draft.
Webb went 2-6 with a 4.81 ERA in 54 games (1 start) at Triple-A Louisville in 2012.
Looks like a pretty decent pick-up. Getting a solid LHP is always worth the gamble.
