The Milwaukee Brewers will celebrate Fan Appreciation Night presented by Chevrolet at Miller Park on Saturday, September 27 against the Chicago Cubs. The evening will include numerous giveaways and prizes, and one lucky fan will win “The Ultimate Tailgate” grand prize: a 2014 Chevy Equinox and a $1,000 gift card to Pick ‘n Save.
The Chevy Equinox features a custom Brewers wrap (see attachment) and will be displayed at Miller Park and various Pick ‘n Save stores in the Greater Milwaukee area beginning this week. Along with the Chevy Equinox, the Klement’s Famous Racing SausagesTM will make special appearances at the store locations. In addition, five pairs of tickets for Fan Appreciation Night and Pick ‘n Save gift cards will be given away during each appearance.
All fans in attendance on Fan Appreciation Night presented by Chevrolet will receive a 2014 Brewers team photo and a 2015 Brewers magnetic schedule. Additionally, all fans will be entered into a drawing for the chance to win fabulous prizes, including autographed memorabilia, gift certificates to the Brewers Team Store by Majestic at Miller Park and many additional prizes from team corporate sponsors (prizes subject to change).
Tickets for Fan Appreciation Night presented by Chevrolet are available at the Miller Park Box Office, online at Brewers.com or by calling the Brewers ticket office at (414) 902-4000.
From my partner Legends of the Field (look to the right for their logo which links to their website), here are the autographed photos I’m giving away.
I have two prints of each player to give away, so there will be four winners on each platform (and no, I won’t let you win twice but you can certainly enter on both), so your odds of winning are pretty good.
For an extra entry, leave a comment on the blog with your social media username. You need a free account to do that, but taking the time shows you care.
Oh, and if you don’t win, go to their website, find something you want to buy, use my code at checkout and save 15%! The code: BREWERNATION15
I’m giving away a ticket in Section 115 to tomorrow afternoon’s Milwaukee Brewers vs. Baltimore Orioles game at Miller Park.
If you can’t go, please don’t bother entering. It’ll save me time later.
If you can go, please answer the following multi-part trivia question via your preferred social media network. If you tweet, be following me at @BrewerNation. If you respond on Facebook, be sure that you “Like” the page at http://www.facebook.com/BrewerNation.
You have until 8pm CDT on 5/25/2014 to enter. I’ll draw the winner shortly thereafter and announce it via all the social networks.
Thanks for participating and good luck!
Here’s the multi-part question:
- Whose contract did the Brewers purchase on May 25, 2014?
- How was he acquired by the Brewers last offseason?
- When did he make his Major League Debut?
Please remember that you need to answer all three parts of the question correctly to be eligible to win.
Thanks, and good luck!
We gave away four autographed photos in our last contest featuring Jean Segura, Yovani Gallardo, and Scooter Gennett.
Next week Monday, my sponsor and I will be giving away the three autographed baseballs pictured below.
This is a social media contest, and as such there are two ways to enter. You must be following both Legends of the Field and the Brewer Nation on Twitter (respectively: @lotfautographs & @BrewerNation) and/or like both of our pages on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/legendsofthefield & http://www.facebook.com/BrewerNation)
Note: There will be one ball guaranteed to go to a Twitter entrant and one ball guaranteed to go to a Facebook entrant. If you want a chance at all three baseballs, you must enter the contest on both platforms.
Then, once you’re in…
Find this tweet and retweet it:

That’s it! We’ll select the winners at random on Monday, March 31st…just in time for OPENING DAY!!!
What better way to commemorate the start of a new season than with a new addition to your autograph collection from your trusted source of Brewers memorabilia, Legends of the Field?
Good luck and GO BREWERS!!
Here at Brewer Nation, we care about our readers. We want everyone to be able to participate in all things Brewers and that includes attendance at a certain “hot ticket” event.
So let me ask you the follow question…
Do any of these situations apply to you?
-No luck in the lottery?
-Can’t afford resale upcharges?
-Couldn’t (or wouldn’t) tailgate in “Arctic” conditions?
-Need one to complete your party?
Then do I have a deal for you!
For a limited time only, I’m offering you the chance to win a ticket to Opening Day on March 31st at Miller Park when the Milwaukee Brewers host the Atlanta Braves.
You might be saying to yourself, “I never win anything” or “He’ll never pick me.” Maybe. But that shouldn’t prevent you from trying anyway because you never know!
Okay…enough with the “sales” speak. In all seriousness, I was fortunate enough to be selected in the Opening ticket lottery and bought extra ticket so I could give away.
Here are the specifics on how I’m doing that.
- You have to be able to attend Opening Day on March 31, 2014 at Miller Park. It’d be pretty crappy if you won the ticket, knowing you can’t attend.
- You have to be willing to meet me on the Miller Park grounds on March 31st for the ticket hand off. I require this because I’m not going to let someone make money off of my generosity by reselling the ticket. I’ll be there early enough that day for even the brightest-eyed and bushiest-tailed fan.
- You have to submit a valid, correct entry by March 27th based on the contest specifics which follow.
Here’s how to enter. Email your correct entry to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Answer these questions:
- What number is Tyler Thornburg wearing in camp this year?
- When is the new Wall of Honor scheduled to unveiled?
- Where will the new Bob Uecker statue be located?
- Who won the Fans Choice bobblehead vote?
- What rank did my blog receive on the Top 100 MLB.com blogs ranking?
- Since we’re entering Miller Park’s 14th season, who wore #14 during its inaugural season?
- How many 2014 regular season Brewers games are not scheduled to be televised?
- Against whom are this year’s late March exhibition games scheduled?
- How many Brewers were listed among MLB Network’s Top 100 Players Right Now entering 2014?
- From which team was Wei-Chung Wang taken in the Rule V Draft?
All answers can be found here on my blog. You can utilize the handy search tool in the right-hand column to assist you.
I tweeted this a couple of days ago…
Also, the first fruits of my partnership with @lotfautographs will be announced on Friday evening. Stay tuned for that, Brewer Nation!
— The Brewer Nation (@BrewerNation) February 27, 2014
And here are the details and instructions on how to participate (and possibly win!).
- Be following me (like you probably already do) on Twitter: @BrewerNation
- Be following Legends of the Field (like you should be) on Twitter: @lotfautographs
If you already follow both of us, you’re already entered! Otherwise, accomplish both of those goals by 11:59pm CST on Friday, March 7, 2014 and you’re entered to win. It really is that simple. You’ll be entered to win one of four signed 8×10 photos.
However, what you can also do though is tweet both me and Legends of the Field if you’d like to be considered specifically for one photo over another.
So what are the photos, you ask? Allow me to offer Exhibits A, B, C, D. (I digitally added “smudges” to the computer image so as to discourage downloads/printing. Believe me that the actual photos are beautiful and the signatures are crisp!) If you choose to enter yourself in the drawing for a specific photo, just tweet both of us the letter of the photo you’d like to be entered to win.
We (the Legends of the Field manager and I) will choose the four random winners on Saturday, March 8, 2014 and will announce them publicly here on the blog after we contact you via Twitter direct message. (You must be 18 to win, but if you get selected when we contact you for details on how to ship you your photo, we can deal with a parent or legal guardian.)
A: Jean Segura (white)
B: Scooter Gennett
C: Yovani Gallardo
D: Jean Segura (gold)
I realize that anyone can see this post, including in my Facebook and Google+ communities as well as the general internet. This is a “Twitter Only” contest to kick things off. There will be other community-specific contests down the road, but if you want in this time and you don’t have a Twitter account……well, make one and follow us!
Also, keep your eyes open mid-next week for a special opportunity related to this contest.
Thanks for reading, and good luck!
(You can leave any questions in the comments.)
Many of you know that I spend some of my time as a Brewers “Insider” for sports talk radio stations The Big 920 and The Big 1070 in Milwaukee and Madison respectively. I work directly with The Mike Heller Show. (They are the same guys who have guest hosted the nationally syndicated Dan Patrick Show multiple times over the last four months.)
I will be working with Legends of the Field to bring my readers some exclusive opportunites for autographed Brewers memoribilia via giveaways, special access to Legends of the Field player appearances and signings, periodic discounts for merchandise with a special discount code, and more!
For more information about Legends of the Field, click to visit their website and read about their history, their new owner Jim Lindenberg, and how they have three physical locations around southeastern Wisconsin which the website marketplace supplements.
More details will be available about individual events and contests as they come up, but we’re planning on a couple of things early on to get this relationship kicked off in a good way.
The best part? All you have to do to be included is follow the directions as they come up. There will be specific instructions and information included with each forthcoming opportunity.
I was in their Delafield store yesterday evening, for example, and believe me when I tell you that their merchandise is top of the line. They have exclusive signing contracts with some of the Brewers players which means that you can’t get their autographs from any other company and no other company can bring that player in for a signing event.
And speaking of those signings? For each individual signing that Legends of the Field hosts this season, one Brewer Nation reader will win a free autograph! All you have to do is show up!
That’s just the tip of the iceberg, Brewer Nation. But in the meantime, be sure that you look to Legends of the Field for authentic, certified Brewers autographs at great prices.
The Milwaukee Brewers today announced specifics of an Opening Day Ticket Opportunity that will allow fans the chance to purchase tickets to Opening Day and weekend games at Miller Park prior to the sale of individual tickets.
Beginning tomorrow, January 21 at 9 a.m. and continuing through Monday, February 17, fans can go to Brewers.com and register for the opportunity to purchase up to four tickets to Opening Day on Monday, March 31 against the Atlanta Braves. Due to limited availability, the Opening Day Ticket Opportunity includes single seats, standing room only and some obstructed view seats. In addition, fans can register for a maximum of eight tickets to each of the weekend games (Friday-Sunday) at Miller Park.
Following registration, a pool of randomly selected winners will be chosen and provided access to an online pre-sale opportunity, based on available inventory. The winners will be notified on Friday, February 21.
There is no charge to register. This will be the only opportunity for fans to purchase single game tickets for Opening Day, other than a very small number set aside for fans lining up at the Box Office on the first day of individual game sales at Miller Park. Single game ticket sales will go on sale at a later date (exact date TBD).
Meanwhile, there are still options available for fans to guarantee their place at Miller Park for Opening Day and other popular games with 10-Packs starting as low as $180. Each 10-Pack includes 10 Brewers home games, plus a bonus of Opening Day or any other game of the fan’s choice absolutely FREE. Fans interested in purchasing 10-Packs are encouraged to call 414-902-HITS (4487) or visit Brewers.com for more information.
Please note: A very limited amount of individual tickets will be available for Opening Day.
