Spring Training – Game 1 – Milwaukee vs. Oakland
Today is the first full game of the spring. You might not recognize half the names after the 5th inning, but competitive baseball is about to be played again.
The starting lineup for the Milwaukee Brewers for today’s game is as follows:
1. Rickie Weeks – 2B
2. J.J. Hardy – SS
3. Ryan Braun – LF
4. Prince Fielder – 1B
5. Corey Hart – RF
6. Mike Cameron – CF
7. Casey McGehee – 3B
8. Jason Kendall – C
9. Jeff Suppan – P
Yes, it’s only Spring Training, but it’s also Brewers baseball. 620 AM WTMJ (The Brewers Flagship) will be carrying the game here in Milwaukee. I don’t know whether it’s being carried around the state, but I would hope so.
Mr. Baseball Bob Uecker will be in the booth this afternoon and mst fans will also get their first taste of Jim Powell’s replacement, Corey Provus who will be calling the action and no doubt hearing the first of many fantastic baseball stories.
